We are about to embark on an expedition to the Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia) plus a few days in Vienna, travelling with a group of friends whom we originally met on the Trans Siberian trip in 2007.
The six of us are travelling by private 15 seat minibus with a local English speaking tour guide. Our itinerary has been customised to suit our group and is quite varied including visits to ancient villages, a caravansarai, castles, interesting museums and temples, architecture…; sightseeing including mud volcanoes, scenic mountains, iconic landmarks; markets, degustation tours, wineries, restaurants, a fromagerie & a cooking class; lots of walking, a jeep tour and a 4x4 car tour. Our tour includes some time to relax…. all with camera(s) in hand.
